To the wonderful folks over at ModuleMasters,
I wanted to take some time and thank you for all the hard diagnostic
work that you performed on my ABS module. Every time that I would call your staff was
courteous and very prompt with answers. It was truly a pleasure doing business with you,
and rest assured that I have and will continue to recommend your services to others in need
of your skills. Although my ABS module proved to be beyond repair, you proved to be a
company of your word and quickly refunded the amount that I had tendered to you. I hope
that others who are considering your service realize that they have nothing to lose and
everything to gain by doing business with you.
Thanks again,
-Robert G. Hanover, Maryland

Gavin-
An update regarding your overhaul of my 2001 Volvo V70 ABS module:
Very neat and professional repair with quick turnaround and written warrantee. All console
warning indications cleared when module was re-installed. ABS, Stability Traction Control,
and Winter Mode and all have continued to work flawlessly for 10 months. A great job at a
great price!
Thanks!

Gavin,
Gavin, Excellent work!! I sent the module to you on a Friday and it came back on
the following Thursday. Put it in within 30 minutes of receiving it and both of the
brake warning lamps went out. Very pleased with your service and I will be
recommending you to anyone that I know of who has the same problem.

Gavin,
I installed the rebuilt ABS module on my SUV and it works perfectly. The instructions
to re-install the unit were a great help. The ABS, parking and traction control lights
went off. You have saved me over $1200.00 from the dealership and other repair shops.
Thank you so much for providing this wonderful service.

Oh.......My.....God! I mean YOU did it....but still I DID IT!
I am TOTALLY NOT a mechanic and did most of the work with kitchen utensils! Ok maybe not
kitchen utensils, but I used NO socket wrench. Just a T20 bit from my interchangeable
screwdriver set and a manual 1/4-inch wrench to turn the T20 bit! The module works. The
car works. It's like a new car!
I don't know if you take work from small auto shops, but I shared your website with 2
of them on my street.
I was especially happy to share the info with this guy who was gonna CHANGE MY OIL
FILTER to try to make the oil light go out at least!!!! He tried to tell me there must be
some sensor in the VW oil filter and it knows when you've changed the oil but NOT the oil
filter! I believed him...unitl I found YOU!!!!
I sent a tip via PayPal to : (email removed) $50 smackers, baby! You soooooo deserve
it!

The people at Module Master were very professional and competent in
handling the repair for my 1998 Dakota. At first my module was repaired, but some solder
traces came undone in shipping back to me that had new fault codes. After sending the
unit back to Gavin for warrantee, he investigated the module and using a microscope found
that the board was so thin that some chips had broken off in transit. He re-soldered the
module and packed it carefully for return shipment. It’s running fine now and has saved
me a large amount of money and hassle from having to purchase new. Many thanks to the
Module Master team and the tenacity of the owner.

Gavin,
It is very refreshing to deal with people who do exactly what they say they are going
to do and that is you and your staff. I received my module yesterday and installed it
yesterday evening. No lights and no bells, just a perfectly functioning ABS system on my
wife’s car. She’s as pleased as I am. I have posted my progress and great results to
www.audiforums.com. I also understand there are a number of Audis driving around the DFW
metroplex with an identical problem to the one I had and you fixed quickly and
economically. They’ll hear about this from me.
Total cost to me was $267.50 (includes repair and postage both ways) and about 3 hours
of my time (I’m methodical) for a job that had been estimated for me to cost about $1300
for the module replacement or $2300 for the module and pump replacement.
I’ve always thought it wasteful to remove and replace expensive electronic parts when I
just knew that many of these parts could be removed, repaired and reinstalled at a great
savings in money and resources. Now that I’ve found you I know it is true. Thank you for
what you are doing.
Sincerely,
-Bob K. Fort Worth, Texas (Bosch 5.3 133)

Hi Phil,
We received the repaired module earlier this week and built it in our car
yesterday ….. the ABS is working again!!!! Thank you very much for the repair and perfect
service we have received from Module Master. Your website is also very clear with the
removal instructions.
If I ever hear about more people with a similar problem, I will recommend your service.
Hopefully before they contact a Volkswagen dealer. Our dealer spent 3.5 hours without any
result, they told me to continue the next morning. That evening I searched the internet and
found your site within the hour. It has saved me a lot of money.

Gavin,
Thank you for the rebuild of my ABS module, it corrected all my ABS and brake codes!
Your staff did an excellent job on working with me to get the module returned on a
timely basis as promised. Please extend my gratitude to Elaine and your capable staff
for a job well done. (Tell Elaine the Utah deer hunt was successful) My preferred auto
shop was going to charge in excess of $1600.00 to repair/replace the module and
modulator. They are interested in your services to save their customers money; I have
referred your services to (them).

Dear Circuit Solutions,
Dear Circuit Solutions, I am happy to report your rebuild of my ABS module corrected
all my failure codes! You did an axcellent job and returned the unit on a timely basis
as promised. Please extend my gratitude to your capable staff for a job well done.
I avoided a huge repair bill from my "friendly dealer repair department", they wanted
in excess of $1300 to replace the whole unit. Again, thank you very much.

Dear Gavin,
Our ABS system went crazy, the ABS light came on and the pump kept
running even after the engine was turned off. It is Saturday night so no auto shops are
open. I surfed the net for at least 45 minutes with no results to our predicament. I was
about to give up when I found your website. You saved my truck. I read your immediate
solution and walked my husband through it to perfection!!

Dear Gavin,
I would like to thank you so very much for starting this great company
that has save us a lot of bucks. I looked for a used module everywhere but was not able
to find one anywhere. I was determine not to pay the $1000 I was quoted at my local
dealer, so I went to the internet and found the info I needed to fix the problem myself.
Your site was very helpful and I was able to remove the part and send it to your company
to have it repaired. I was amazed that the part was repaired very professionally and
returned promptly. I was able to reinstalled it and the abs module worked great. I was
so impressed that I mentioned the story at our local car club meeting and every one
wanted your web site address.
Again Thanks,

Gavin,
Received the assembly on Friday, installed on Saturday, and everything
works great. I highly recommend your service, and appreciate the communication, and quick
return. I am also convinced that my brake lines had some air in them from the factory, as
bleeding them certainly has improved the pedal firmness.
Thanks again,

September 16, 2007
You guys rock!
About a month and a half ago, I was driving happily along in my 2000 Audi A6, and all of
the sudden, a bunch of my engine warning lights went wacko! I had to pull out my owner’s
manual and make a note of which lights were going on so I wouldn’t forget when I call my
mechanic.
At first, it was the just the ABS, brake, and oil pressure lights and warning chimes. I
kept driving the car because I knew it had to be some computer malfunction that was
causing all hell to break loose. Anyhow, I took the car to my independent mechanic and he
couldn’t find anything wrong, but suspected the problem had something to do with the
“control panel computer”, a $1,000 part from Audi + installation. Well…… with more
complicated repairs, I always take my Audi to the dealership, figuring that they are more
qualified to diagnose and repair. By the time I could get to the dealership, my warning
lights were going wacko on a regular basis. In addition to the ABS, brake and oil, the
tach would drop to zero and the AC would shut off (not a good thing in Arizona in August)
After a week and $1,200 later at the Audi dealership, I had new engine mounts, an oil leak
repaired, and some “short in the dashboard” repaired. As soon as I started my car when I
picked it up, the lights went all wacko again. The problem had not been fixed. I left my
car there and kept the loaner.
A week later, my service advisor called and said I needed a new ABS module. I ask how much
it would cost and he said it was a $900 part from Audi. I said “hell no” and asked what my
options were. He said I should look for a rebuilt module on the internet, which would be
about $500. Long story short, a Sunday afternoon of searching led me to your site (actually
connected through an Audi chat site). Your $200 and Audi’s $200 install later, my car is
fixed! I picked it up yesterday and am very happy!
I took a printout of your site to the Audi dealership and will be taking one to my
independent mechanic. I think your service will help them keep their customers happy and
loyal Audi owners.
Thank you!

Gavin,
I just want to inform you I got the module this morning. I have now

Gavin,
THANK YOU for your prompt turn-around time. I sent you the ABS Module for my 99 S80 Volvo
and received the repaired part in less than a week. My local Volvo dealership told me the
cost to replace my failed ABS module would be $1115.00!!! I paid one tenth the cost by
using your services. Removing and replacing the module was a very straight-forward process
and I am confident that anyone with the proper tools and a tiny bit of patience can do this
repair work themselves. Initially all warning lights remained on when I replaced the module
and continued to remain on after a 5 mile test drive. Once I disconnected the battery
(for about 1 hour) and reconnected, all the lights turned off - including the Check Engine Light.
Believe me. If I have a chance to recommend your services, I will do so WITHOUT HESITATION.
If anyone ever asks for a reference, put my name on the list! Shame on these dealerships for
the prices they charge.

Mr. Curtis,
This is just a little note to say thank you for your work. The experience
I had with your company, from start to finish, was extremely professional. I received my ABS
module back in the amount of time you said. The instructions on your website for replacement
of the module were very clear. I was impressed how you included your repair actions on the
receipt, some repair places just write “repaired unit” or something like that. After I
reinstalled the module in my car, all the problems with the annoying beeping and the abs
lights were history. I’ve had the module in my car for about a month now, and have no problems
whatsoever. I will surely recommend your company to anyone I can. The money you saved me wasn’t
bad either! Thanks again for the top-notch service!!

Gavin,
Good morning, I wanted thank you for your quality product and service – I
installed the module last night, thanks to your video on the website the installation could
not have gone smoother. All the lights and buzzers are off and the ABS seems to work perfectly.
It is a pleasure in today’s disposable society to find someone that can actually fix something
electronic and provide value along the way. GREAT WORK – keep it up. Maybe I should send you
the pile of broken VCR’s I have been saving for the last 25 years that I can’t bear to throw
out….I just know someone can fix them!!!! The core will go out in today’s mail.
Best wishes and thanks again for a great product.

Gavin,
I just wanted to thank you again for the rebuild you did on my EBCM for
my 2001 chevy tahoe I received it last monday, put it back in, and it worked perfectly!! Been
driving it all week and no problems at all!! I was worried when i saw my abs and brake light
come on. After a stop at the dealer and them saying it could be the EBCM, and it was around
$1000, i could not believe it. I found your site and have never been happier. All fixed, and
for a lot less!! Feel free to use my comments or direct anyone with any hesitation to me and
ill tell them how good it is.
Thanks again,

July 18, 2007
Gavin,
I really appreciate your honesty and integrity. The next day we tried two
more ABS units, neither worked, a rebuilt one and a new one and the car was to be delivered
in about an hour when the mechanic finally took the l/f (left front) wheel off.
"name removed" is usually very thorough with their service and no one seems to know how they
missed this but the axle nearly fell right out! After securing the axle everything worked
properly so here is your check back and I will be sending you my next bad unit.
Thanks again,
-Jim L. Devon, Pennslyvania (Volvo - We refunded rebuild cost ($110), all of their
shipping ($52), and added $8 to have the bad unit sent back to us after we spent a lot of time
troubleshooting the module. Turns out the module was fine ... but the car was not.)
July 13, 2007
Hello Gavin, I would like to say thank you. You received my module on a
Monday and I had it back by Friday. I installed it and it works fine. I am grateful for the
money you saved me. What I paid would not have covered half the labor bill, not to mention 800
dollars plus for a new part.

Gavin-
Thanks for the repair and quick turnaround of the EBCM Module for my 02
Avalanche. I installed it immediately and followed the instructions provided. It was a snap.
The local dealership here of course wanted to Remove & Replace the EBCM at a cost to me of $800 + 3.5
hours of labor. Total cost to me out the door would have been $1250. The $150 spent with you to repair
the module and the 1.0 hour of labor I put in to Remove and Refurb the module was well worth it. You
saved me nearly $1000. Had I just sent you the module in the first place, as I was originally inclined
to, I would have saved myself the $85 Tech2 diagnostic charge as well. I can’t thank you enough.
Best Regards,
-Donny S. Gilbert, AZ (KH EBCM)

Success! I had managed to put the 60 amp fuse in the wrong slote. Correcting that
removed one light on the dash, and I also missed the third connector to the module. So all is well now.
Thanks for the great job.

Gavin,
Just a quick note to let you know the repair fixed the problem. This solution is
almost too good to be true. Our 2001 Yukon is back on the road with no ABS or Brake light issues. I

Thanks again!

I re-installed the rebuilt ABS module from my 2000 Saab 9-5 and after 200 miles
of testing, it works. The warning lights on my instrument panel were lit up like the Las Vegas Strip,

you.

Hello Gavin,
The new one was installed by me on Monday and the ABS lamp went off straight away.
Went into my BMW dealer to have it coded to my car and after that the DSC lamp went off too, so I'm a
happy camper:-) I'll probably go back to the US in two weeks so I was thinking I'd bring the faulty
unit with me then and send it over to you if that's okay? I'd like to express my gratitude for the
excellent service you have provided me with and rest assured I'll recommend your firm whenever I hear
someone having a problem with their module.
Cheers,

Turned out to be a bad unit so we rebuilt one from our inventory and sent it back as a replacement ...
it worked!)
June 5, 2007
Gavin-
Just a tip that you likely are already familiar with... I recently installed an ABS
module for my 2000 Chevy P/U and of course the Torx head screws stripped out while attempting to remove
them from the aluminum housing. After removing the entire ABS pump assembly, I used a drill bit (larger
than the diameter of the screw thread, think it was a 5/32" dia) to drill thru the head of the four
screws using what was left of the mangled T-20 torx hole as a guide. Once the drill bit breaks through
the head of the screw, the shank of the screw can then easily be unscrewed from the housing. Worked
very well and didn't need to worry about grinder marks left in the plastic housing/brass compression
limiter sleeves (which I see you deduct for when crediting for the core).
FYI - The module is working perfectly and I appreciate the work that your company is doing. Laura
was a big help! She helped to expedite the rebuild of a the module that I needed so that I received it
in time for my weekend-warrior project! Please pass this along and thanks again!

Hi Gavin, I appreciate the work you guys did for me! The module works perfectly.
You guys saved me over $1,000. I am very impressed. You did exactly what you said you would do,
exactly when you said you would do it and at a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, the torx bolts on
my module had been previously stripped out, so I had to disconnect the brake lines and remove the
pump body in order to remove the EBCM. When I bled the brakes, the brake fluid was extremely dirty!
I was very surprised. So I guess it was good that I had to remove the brake lines after all.
I have one small suggestion on your instructions. You mention greasing the electrical connections
in the same paragraph as reattaching the module to the pump body. It made me think you wanted me to
grease the towers on the pump body that go up into the EBCM. I don’t know what would happen if you
put grease inside the module (?). Anyway, you might want to move the part about greasing the
electrical connections to a paragraph after the instructions to clean and reassemble the module to
the pump body.
Thanks,
-Rusty C Garner, North Carolina (KH EBCM)

sticker also, nice touch). I installed it today and again as you advertised, "lights out", no
blinking ABS light or brake light. I am so delighted with your service that I will tell
everyone I know if they come across a bad ABS module in their car.
My VW dealer wanted about 1800.00 dollars to put in a new one. Your detailed removal
instructions were right on, but I would add that the front wheel well (drivers side) cover
s/b be removed to gain better access to remove the screws that attach the module to the pump.
Again thanks so much , I cannot tell you how impressed I am with your service.

Problem: - cannot keep fault code 81 cleared. -code 41 has been
intermittantly on, but stayed clear after last initialization. An attempt by (one of our main
competitors) to correct above problem was unsuccessful - they said they cannot repair it. So
now we put it in the 'Master's' hands!
-Phil G. Hartsville, South Carolina (BMW 5.7 950-001 with DSC - module was 'rebuilt'
by one of our main competitors. We rebuilt what they missed and corrected what they did wrong...
did a follow-up call one week later and module is doing good!)

hey Gavin, just another testament to the great repair on my module, 1998
dodge pickup abs. I also want to say thanks to Connie and Laura for their effort to see that I
got my module back in time to use the next day on a 500 mile trip. It's working great.

Gavin,
A big thanks to you and your team there. The dealer had quoted me over
$1200 to replace the 'faulty ABS module' which to me seemed dramatic and unreasonable. I
discovered the ModuleMaster option on AudiWorld and my experience was absolutely fantastic.
I removed my module on Sunday using the provided online instructions, sent it over night on
Monday, had it back on Friday and in my car on Saturday. All for a price that was more then
reasonable. My module is functioning great and I am happy to say that I achieved my goal of
'No blinking dash lights' by 100,000 miles on my Audi A4 (400 miles to go!).
So thanks again and keep up the good work!

Phil & Gavin:
Thanks! I received the Module, put it in my car, and all seems well. My
ABS warning light, my brake warning light, and my Check Engine light are all off now.
Thanks a bunch! Cheers,

Gavin,
Last week I ordered an EBCM for my 2001 Suburban and just wanted you to
know how pleased I was with the entire transaction. I think your prices are very reasonable,
your workmanship superb, and your service outstanding. I also appreciated the succinct and
concise manner in which you describe the problem, the repair, and the installation. For once,
everything worked according to plan, fit as described, and performed exactly as you said it
would. At a time when American industry is taking a beating from abroad, it is gratifying to
know that there are still honest craftsmen like yourself still at work.
Thanks again for your help.

Gavin,
Gavin, Just wanted you to know that the unit came back week or so ago and
it works perfectly! The $800 you saved me from having this done at my BMW dealer is definitely
going to be spent elsewhere...like on gas money now. I'm driving back and forth to work
smiling knowing that I did the right thing by working with your team.
Sincerely,
-Bill M. Gainesville, Georgia (BMW 5.7 900-001 without DSC)

Hi Gavin and the ModuleMaster Staff,
THANKS for the great job you did with my ABS module for my 1999 Volvo S80
T6! I received the module in the mail today and just had my mechanic re-install it and
everything works great!! Your staff was great to work with and helped guide me through the
entire process....which only took one week from start to finish! You saved me about $1000
from what the dealer wanted to charge for a new ABS module! I will recommend you guys whenever
possible.
Thanks,

Gavin,
I posted this on the bimmerfest forum today...
I recently had a problem with my ABS and ASC lights staying lit on my 1999
528i. The problem initially was intermittent. Then the lights stated to stay on permanently.
After awhile the speedometer became intermittent. I read on this forum that others had the
same problem and contacted a company called Module Master for help. I contacted them and
asked the owner Gavin Curtis if the problem could be one of the wheel speed sensors. He told
me that they could be the culprit and he gave me information as to how to swap them. It
eventually turned out to be a bad abs module. I sent my module in and within 5 days I had it
back and installed. It Works Great! $306 with shipping...Thanks! for the all your help.

To the wonderful folks over at ModuleMasters,
I wanted to take some time and thank you for all the hard diagnostic work
that you performed on my ABS module. Every time that I would call your staff was courteous
and very prompt with answers. It was truly a pleasure doing business with you, and rest assured
that I have and will continue to recommend your services to others in need of your skills.
Although my ABS module proved to be beyond repair, you proved to be a company of your word and
quickly refunded the amount that I had tendered to you. I hope that others who are considering
your service realize that they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing business
with you.
Thanks again,

Gavin,
Enclosed is the nonfunctional core that was removed from a 2001 Chevy Tahoe.
The enclosed part is being sent to you for the core credit value. The truck works very well
now, thank you!! As an FYI, I figured out how to find you by looking on the internet after
listening to an NPR radio program by the two mechanics out of Boston, "Click and Clack, the
Tappet Brothers". They are off the wall at times. The information they provide is not only
entertaining, but, as it was in this case, extremely worthwhile. I figure that by using your
parts and the mechanic that did the work for me, I saved about $900 over a dealership part and
repair. Thanks!!

Gavin,
We have used you in the past & I have given your cards & phone number to
countless people. If you want, place me in your ads as a testimonial!! Why pay $250 for a
mystery quality ABS unit at the salvage yard, when you can get better than new with a rebuild
from circuit solutions for $150 bucks !!!!!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!

Just wanted to let you folks know that the shipment arrived and I reinstalled

Gavin,
Thanks for the quick turnaround on repairing my A4 module. Problem solved
and the ABS light is out. $200 a lot less then Audi's $975 estimate! The car failed a
California smog check because the failed module prevented the smog check technician from
communicating with the OBD II computer even though tailpipe emissions were OK. Installed
repaired module and car passed smog check.

Hey Gavin,
I just wanted to thank you for the quick repair of my Audi ABS module.
With the help of your optional 1-day turnaround, I was able to have the module back in my
hands only 3 days after I shipped it…and to Canada no less! The unit seems to be working
great (no more annoying abs lights or beeping when I start up the car), and you saved me
nearly $800 over a new unit.
Thanks again,

Gavin,
Every once in a while a company comes along that says what they do
and does what they say. The symptoms you described were exactly what my Volvo C70
was experiencing so I sent you my ABS module. In returned you fixed it as advertised
and quite quickly thank you and returned it to me. Everything works great now. It's
been about 3 weeks and no problems. The dealership wanted over $400 bucks for that
part so I saved almost $300 bucks by using you.
Thank you Gavin.

worked like clockwork. I can not thank you enough for your service. It was quick and
professional. Thank you so much.

Greetings,
I was very impressed how quickly you repaired my ABS module and
returned it to me. When my ABS, ASC, and check engine lights came on I took my 1999
BMW 528i to an independent garage that specializes in German cars. They said I needed
a new ABS module that would cost $1050 and the labor would be an additional $150 for a
grand total of $1200. I found out that the ABS module was very easy to get to and also
easy to remove and reinstall. I continued to drive the car after I removed the module
and covered the hydraulic unit and data connector with a high temp plastic bag (oven
bag capable of 400F) and electric tape to protect it from moisture and dust. I
received the repaired ABS module 10 days after I shipped it to you using d day shipping
for both initial and return shipments. After I installed the module the lights went off
and everything has returned to normal. I appreciate the quality work and quick
turnaround.
Thank you,
-Larry B.

Thank you so much for rebuilding the ABS Module for my 2001 Cadillac
Catera. You saved us so much money. God will surely bless you for not ripping people off
like the dealerships do. We have had a rough time this past 4 months. We lost our 17 year
old daughter in a car accident in October. Then my car started having all these warning
lights come on. The dealership wanted @$1500.00 to fix it. I didn't have $1500.00 dollars
to put into a car that I will probably not keep much longer. I was desperate to find a
better solution and found you company on the internet. We re-installed the module and all
the warning lights went off and the speedometer started working again.
I can't tell you how happy we were that it worked. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
-Sandra C.

Module has tidy physical appearance with effective-looking seal.
Console lights out - waiting for snow to test operation but all looks great. Prompt

Gavin,
I wanted to drop you a note thanking you for sticking with and
repairing my ABS module even though it is not one of the modules you usually repair.
(Large KH EBCM) I installed it in my 1999 Suburban on Friday 1/12/07, following your
installations instructions and the ABS worked! My wife says THANK YOU, she is the
primary driver of the vehicle and wanted to have the ABS working again. They haven't
worked in 9 months.
The $150.00 I paid was much less than the the "Stealer" wanted for a new one. I
will spread the word about you to others and my local garage.
Thank you,
-Rich H. Grand Haven, Michigan

Gavin,
I just wanted to thank you for a great job. I had the cursed ABS
light on my dash for over 10,000 miles. I was skeptical at first, but after I checked
out how long you were in business I sent in my ECBM. I received the repaired module in
about one week, the directions were very specific, and the ABS on my truck works like
new. I will recommend your service every time.
Thanks again.

Hey there,
I just wanted to let you know the module finally arrived here in
Calgary the other day, and so far, has been working perfectly! Thanks again for your
fantastic efforts, and please thank Kylie for me also.
I subscribe regularly to a popular BMW chat room, and you can bet that I will be
praising the efforts you, and your staff. I've already passed on your info to several
maintenance shops here in Calgary that I deal with. Thank-you again, and I'll keep you
posted.
All the best,

Hello,
I just wanted to say that I received my repaired BMW ABS module today
and it works perfectly and cleared up my ABS and ASC warning lights. My speedometer
also works again. Thank you very much for the good work, the quick turnaround, and the

your work to the members of the Yahoo BMW E39 discussion group.
